Our story

I was the kid who couldn't keep up

SparkVela exists because I lived the problem it solves — and found the way out.

Founder portrait — coming soon

At five years old, I couldn't count to ten. Remedial classes. Speech therapy. Tested for autism, twice. While my classmates moved ahead, I fell further behind — and I picked up the thing that does the most damage of all. The quiet belief that I just wasn't smart.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to study harder and started studying differently — the way the brain is actually built to learn. I rebuilt my foundations from the ground up, used the techniques that move knowledge into long-term memory, and slowly proved to myself that I could do hard things.

Using that method, I graduated as my high school's valedictorian at 17 with over 200 credits. Then I finished a four-year neuroscience degree in a year and a half. Same brain. Same kid. It had just never been taught the way it was built to learn.

That's why SparkVela isn't about drilling worksheets or re-explaining the lesson louder. It's the exact method I wish someone had given me — and I teach it one-on-one, because that's how real understanding is built.

If your child is bright but stuck, I've been where they are. Let me help them find the spark.
